True internal change will find visible outward expression
- Unified in our convictions about the Gospel (1:27)
- United in our efforts to proclaim the Gospel (1:27)
- Confident in the face of opposition to the Gospel (1:28-30)
- Selfless in service of our brethren in the Gospel (2:3-4)
- Be Consistent in Character
- Be Courageous in Our Witness
- Be Content with Our Possessions
- Be Confident in God’s Provisions
- Jesus will be for us a Saviour from sin
- Jesus will be for us a King who cares
- Jesus will teach and show us God’s way of love
